Heroes Pledge for Talent
Recognizing the part I can play in protecting children from the effects of “photoshopped” ads, I sign the Truth in Advertising Heroes Pledge agreeing:
1. To let my management, partners, and clients know I do not want my image or likeness to be materially changed* in post-production.
2. That if an image of me is materially changed, I will put in writing to those whose decision it was that I understand the health consequences linked to ads “photoshopping” the human form, in particular on children, teen girls, and women, and I want to make sure they do as well.
* Material change means only change to a person's shape, size, proportion, color, removal and/or enhancement of individual features. If you want to photoshop a blue sky bluer; clean up a fly-away hair; fix a dog's smile...have at it; because no harm results.
